Description:    Firewall K-700 is a super "green" intumescent flame retardant barrier fabric designed for use in building upholstered furniture to comply with California Technical Bulletin 133. K-700 combines "green" flame retardant technology and intumescent chemistry to produce the most effective non-halogen flame barrier fabric available. K-700 forms a char barrier during ignition to insulate the polyurethane foam from the flame source. K-700 is a highly effective barrier combining "passive" and "active" barrier traits. K-700 does not contain PBDEs, halogens, formaldehyde, or antimony.

Suggested Use:    K-700 can be used with a wide variety of fiber types and weights of upholstery fabric. K-700 can be double upholstered or laminated directly to the outer upholstery fabric. K-700 is also offered laminated to a variety of protective films and scrims for various applications. Testing of each composite is necessary to assure compliance.
